ABOUT KATE
Kate McCracken is an award-winning actor, singer, and mover with a passion for bringing stories to life. Currently a theatre major at Northwestern University, Kate brings authenticity and depth to every role. Kate's fascination with storytelling began at a very young age. Over the years, this fascination has grown, leading her to explore and train in genres such as musical theatre and experimental theatre. She loves being a student and constantly wants to learn more about her craft.

Kate strives for collaboration, authenticity, play, and innovation in her work and hopes always to create art rooted in these values. Both on and off-stage, Kate is committed to fostering new work. She is the proud Artistic Director of Sit & Spin, NU’s premier experimental theatre board.
Kate considers herself a foodie and is happy to tell you about her favorite culinary experiences. Likewise, one of her favorite things to do is find trinkets to add to her expansive collection (no… it's not hoarding…she needs them all.)
